Flexible argon probes from BOWA MEDICAL for maximum control and precision

BOWA MEDICAL argon probes are ideal for endoscopic applications in gastroenterology and pulmonology. Particularly easy handling due to the large ignition distance (>10 mm) and minimal argon flow rate for maximum control and absolute precise work. The flow-optimised ceramic tip allows a uniform argon flow of 0.4 l/min. Particularly fine coagulations, from 1 W with maximum accuracy, are possible. The limited penetration depth of argon coagulation ensures safety during the procedure.

The disposable argon probes are intended for monopolar argon-assisted coagulation and may only be used in conjunction with an RF generator with argon support. The combination with the BOWA MEDICAL ARC 400 with the Plug'n Cut function offers maximum application safety and reliable argon ignition <5 W. Flexible endoscopic argon probes with diameters of 1.5 mm, 2.3 mm and 3.2 mm are available for many areas of application available in various lengths.

Argon-assisted electrosurgery uses the ionisation of argon gas to create an electrical bridge between the instrument and tissue. Dosing of the resulting argon beam is particularly easy and can be used for non-contact haemostasis.
