Bipolar technology for maximum safety in RF surgery

BiZZER Stevens can be used without current as a classic instrument and with electrosurgical support. To do this, the bipolar connection cable is connected to a suitable RF generator with a bipolar output. With the help of different connection cables, the ultra-fine, bipolar shears can be used with all conventional electrosurgical devices.

The bipolar technology limits the RF current and the coagulation effect to the region between the shear blades, thus offering increased application safety in regions with sensitive structures:
- General surgery: Adhesions
- Visceral surgery: Hemicolectomy, resection of the sigmoid colon
- Urology: Prostatectomy.

BOWA MEDICAL BiZZER Stevens for preparing, cutting and coagulating tissue

The bipolar shears are versatile in use: They are suitable for preparing, cutting and coagulating tissue in various open-surgery disciplines, such as general and visceral surgery, urology, gynaecology and ENT.

BOWA MEDICAL BiZZER Stevens can be used for both extensive and point coagulations. Coagulation before and during cutting is also possible with the shears.

Optional: BiZZER and Plug'n Cut COMFORT for maximum operating comfort

The BiZZER COMFORT model has integrated RFID technology for communication between BOWA MEDICAL electrosurgical devices with Plug'n Cut COMFORT instrument recognition, such as the ARC 400. Instrument recognition and preselection of the device settings occurs automatically and are available immediately after connecting the instrument. Plug'n Cut COMFORT combines maximum ease of use with maximum application safety – inefficient or even hazardous settings are avoided from the outset. In addition, BiZZER COMFORT permits seamless monitoring of the usage cycles on BOWA MEDICAL ARC 350 and ARC 400 generators.
