BOWA MEDICAL ARC 250 for various special areas of electrosurgery
The ARC 250 from BOWA MEDICAL is the specialist for top-class electrosurgical cutting and coagulation. The device is designed for use in various speciality areas of electrosurgery. For applications in surgery, plastic surgery, ENT, gastroenterology, dermatology, urology and gynaecology, one monopolar and one bipolar instrument each can be connected. All basic electrosurgical functions are available to the operator in combination with the latest control technology.
Special programmes for gastroenterology and urology
With the GastroCut modes of the ARC 250, you can achieve the best results in polypectomy, papillotomy and endoscopic resections with loops or knife electrodes. The pulse sequence of the cutting and coagulation current can be variably adjusted to three speeds, "slow", "medium" and "fast", for the respective requirements. Thus, each step is already optimised. The coagulation effect can be easily regulated in nine stages using the effect setting. This allows both cautious operation to avoid complications and a quick procedure.Resection – Ideal for Urology
With 250 W, the ARC 250 offers the ideal prerequisite for resections with monopolar resectoscopes and hysteroscopes. Even vaporisation can be performed with the device.
Fast and intuitive electrosurgical device with useful features
The monopolar and the bipolar outputs are each set via direct selection keys. All settings are shown on the device front panel and in the LCD display. For more user comfort, various programmes with recommended basic unit settings are available for selection. Individual configuration and storage of 100 programs is available.The ARC 250 is impressive with useful functions such as AUTOSTART and safety features such as the EASY neutral electrode monitoring or the integrated error memory and permanent Self-check ISSys. The ARC CONTROL arc regulator ensures reproducible tissue effects and reliable power metering. It adjusts the power output to the minimum required in depending on the tissue differences and changes in the cutting surface or speed.

Optional: BOWA ARC PLUS with argon support
The BOWA ARC 250 can be ideally combined with BOWA ARC PLUS for argon-assisted electrosurgery. The ARC PLUS is used as an additional device for precise contactless coagulation with maximum perforation protection and easy dosability. For low-complication and safe work for effective haemostasis and devitalisation of tissue anomalies through homogeneous surface coagulation with limited penetration depth.The systems are software-based and can therefore be updated or upgraded. Service activities, such as a safety check, can even be carried out by the hospital technician.
