BOWA MEDICAL ARC 350 – The clever all-in-one generator for HF surgery

The universal system BOWA MEDICAL ARC 350 for electrosurgery is impressive with a clear operating concept and innovative functionalities. Thus, the surgeon has numerous preset standard modes with recommended performance parameters at his or her disposal. In addition, the ARC 350 also offers indication-oriented modes for specific adjustment and quick, easy application. Use one of the settings as a starting point for your adaptation or save a profile according to your individual needs. A total of over 300 profiles can be stored.

The innovative socket concept allows the connection of up to two monopolar and two bipolar instruments simultaneously and is designed for all common standard connections. In monopolar coagulation, for example, both handles can be activated simultaneously. The optional special function LIGATION as well as the possibility to connect up to four instruments to the ARC 350 at the same time save valuable operating theatre time. All four separate socket outputs can be easily configured individually and the settings visually inspected at any time by the operating staff.

For process optimisation in the operating theatre, every ARC 350 is equipped with state-of-the-art RFID technology and the BOWA MEDICAL COMFORT SYSTEM, the latest standard in terms of process reliability and user comfort. The COMFORT SYSTEM puts an end to manually kept tally sheets and tags on cables that are supposed to provide information about the type and scope of the instruments used.

With the Plug & Cut function, the unit automatically identifies that a standard instrument is connected. With the optional Plug & Cut COMFORT function, the correct parameters for the intended use of the connected, intelligent COMFORT instruments are also automatically preselected. The COMFORT SYSTEM monitors and documents the number of remaining uses of the instrument and shows this figure on the display. For 100% safe instrument and quality management.

ARC 350 in combination with ARC PLUS – the universal, argon-assisted workstation for surgery and endoscopy

The combination of the BOWA MEDICAL HF generator ARC 350 with the optionally available argon-assisted electrosurgery enables contact-free work on large areas with diffuse bleeding without damaging adjacent or submucosal tissue. ARC PLUS guarantees a clear view through smoke-free coagulation for safe work with few complications for effective haemostasis and devitalisation of tissue anomalies through homogeneous surface coagulation with limited penetration depth.
