The compact multifunction socket for the simultaneous connection of one bipolar and one monopolar instrument ensures maximum functionality with minimum size and makes the ARC 100 one of the most economical electrosurgical systems in the 100-watt class.

Intuitive operation:
All tissue effects and power settings are intuitively selected at the touch of a button. The power output can be adjusted quickly and easily in 10-watt increments at the touch of a finger. With the ARC 100 you always have everything in view: The selected mode and the set power are displayed at all times by luminous indicators.

Simple and quick foot switch assignment:
At the touch of a button, the foot switch can be assigned to all functions of the ARC 100. The special foot switch for the ARC 100 has a lateral stop to the left and right of the pedal, enabling an ergonomic way of working and blind orientation with the foot.

Electrosurgical device with five different tissue effects

The ARC 100 electrosurgical device offers five different tissue effects: Two monopolar cutting functions, two monopolar coagulation functions and one bipolar coagulation function. The foot switch can be used to activate all modes. For monopolar cutting and coagulation, activation via the handle is also available.

Precise monopolar cutting and effective coagulation:
For monopolar cutting, the modes smooth cutting (Pure CUT) and dry cutting (Dry CUT) are available. Due to a larger arc, Dry CUT enables significantly deeper coagulation effects during cutting.

For monopolar coagulation, the unit offers Moderate and Forced modes. The Moderate mode ensures less carbonisation and coagulation with increased penetration depth. The Forced Coag selection is predetermined for fast and effective haemostasis with less penetration into the tissue.

Perfect bipolar coagulation:
Bipolar COAG enables precise coagulation of tissue with a bipolar instrument, e.g. bipolar forceps. No neutral electrode is required for the use of bipolar coagulation.
