BOWA MEDICAL disposable electrodes for monopolar cutting and coagulation
BOWA MEDICAL disposable electrodes are used for monopolar cutting and coagulation during surgical procedures with RF devices. In monopolar RF surgery, tissue coagulation is achieved by applying a high-frequency AC current, which generates heat. The RF current flows from the active electrode to the large-area neutral electrode. A high current density develops on the surface of the active electrode, which leads to the desired thermal effect. The heat generated coagulates or cuts the tissue. The disposable electrodes are characterised by high voltage reliability.
Sterile, ready-to-use disposable electrodes
Sterile, ready-to-use BOWA MEDICAL disposable electrodes impress with their high-cost effectiveness. A product that is as good as new and ready for immediate use is available for every intervention. Lengthy and costly cleaning is no longer necessary.
RF disposable electrodes for electrosurgery
RF disposable electrodes are available in the standard knife, needle and spherical versions. The shaft diameter is 2.4 mm. The hexagon coding of the electrodes ensures twist-free working.
