Contactless argon coagulation in confined spaces with a flexible electrode
Argon electrodes from BOWA MEDICAL for monopolar electrosurgical coagulation and cutting with and without argon-gas support. The flexible electrodes can be aligned in all directions depending on the surgical site. The maximum circumferential bending radius of 90° must not be exceeded. Open-surgery versions and a length for laparoscopic interventions are available for the use of argon-assisted electrosurgery. The reusable electrodes can be reprocessed for further applications using the cost-effective method of steam sterilisation.Argon-coagulation electrodes for monopolar RF surgery
Various electrodes are available for the argon handle for using argon-assisted electrosurgery. The switch allows you to change between conventional and argon-assisted use. The ideal supplement to the ZAP mode on the ARC generators, which permits the optional switching-on of argon. The reusable electrodes are reprocessed using the inexpensive steam sterilisation process. In monopolar RF surgery, the tissue is cut or coagulated by applying a high-frequency alternating current that generates heat. In addition, in argon-assisted RF surgery, argon flows from the electrode to the tissue.
